JayHanz Tan

I build and test practical digital products around real customer problems.

JayHanz.Digital is where I research specific customer problems, shape focused solutions around them, build the smallest useful version, and test what deserves to grow.

My work includes interactive diagnostics, conversion experiences, audience and lead-generation experiences, and owned digital properties.

Seven-question diagnostic
Every family inquiry needs:
  • An owner — one person responsible for the next step.
  • A status — a clear label showing where the inquiry stands.
  • A next follow-up date — so nothing depends on memory.

Focused page review
Make the next step easier to understand.

One service page examined through customer intent, message clarity, page structure and the path to action.

Clear primary action
Message clarity Can the visitor understand the offer?
Customer intent Does the page answer why they arrived?
Next action Is the next step obvious?
Journey continuity Do page, CTA and follow-up connect?

Different Markets. Same Discipline.

Each project starts with a specific audience, problem or assumption worth testing—not with a piece of technology I want to use.

Build From Evidence, Not Assumptions.

I don't start with a preferred platform, feature list or marketing tactic.

I start by asking what problem exists, who experiences it, what assumption needs testing and what the smallest useful build might be.

01

Understand

Study the customer, problem and evidence already available.

02

Shape

Turn that understanding into a focused offer, hypothesis or customer journey worth testing.

03

Build

Create the smallest useful version that can be put in front of real people.

04

Connect

Make the page, diagnostic, CTA and follow-up work as one customer journey rather than isolated pieces.

05

Test

Observe what people actually do, where they hesitate and what the current version fails to answer.

06

Improve

Use evidence to decide what should change, stay, expand or disappear.

Understand → Shape → Build → Connect → Test → Improve

Where Do Home-Care Inquiries Get Lost?

Home Care Lead Keeper explores a narrow operational question:

What happens between an incoming family inquiry and consistent follow-up?

Rather than beginning with another lead-generation campaign or immediately building a large software platform, I created a seven-question diagnostic that allows an independent home-care agency to examine its existing inquiry process.

The assessment produces a:

Lead Leak Score — out of 21

and examines areas including:

  • website-form follow-up
  • missed-call recovery
  • after-hours inquiries
  • repeated follow-up
  • lead-status tracking
  • guidance for common family situations
  • prospects who are interested but not ready yet
Hypothesis A focused diagnostic may help an agency recognize process weaknesses that are harder to see when inquiries are handled one at a time.

The result connects the assessment to the practical follow-up process instead of treating the score as a business-performance claim.

One thing is always true in home-care follow-up:
  • An owner — one person responsible for the next step.
  • A status — a clear label showing where the inquiry stands.
  • A next follow-up date — so nothing depends on memory.
Recommended Next Step

The live diagnostic populates this area based on the completed assessment.

A Website Problem Isn't Always a Website-Design Problem.

A local service business can already have a website and still make prospective customers work too hard to understand the offer, trust the business or know what to do next.

Call Ready examines that problem one important service page at a time.

  • customer-intent research
  • offer and message clarity
  • conversion copy
  • clear calls to action
  • page structure
  • interactive scorecard
  • personalized page review

The objective is not to add more marketing machinery.

It is to examine one customer journey, remove unnecessary friction and make the next step easier to understand.

This isn't an agency retainer and it isn't a full rebrand. It's one problem, looked at directly.

Before You Build It — The One-Offer Test book cover

Before You Build More, Make Sure the Idea Is Clear.

A lot of my work starts by asking whether something needs to be built at all.

More pages, features, automation and tools do not fix a weak premise.

Before You Build It and OneOfferTest are developing around a simple discipline:

01 Clarify the customer.
02 Clarify the problem.
03 Clarify the offer.
04 Then decide what deserves to be built.

The framework informs how I approach the projects throughout JayHanz.Digital.

I'm JayHanz Tan.

My background is in marketing, and my work sits at the intersection of customer problems, digital products, conversion thinking and practical experimentation.

My role often spans the path from early research and offer thinking through copy, customer journeys, implementation and validation.

I use websites, landing pages, email, interactive tools and AI when they help solve the problem—not because the tool itself is the product.

Understand what needs to work. Build a focused version. Put it in front of real people. Let evidence guide what comes next.

Notes From the Work.

Writing about customer problems, offers, conversion paths, digital products, validation and what current projects are teaching me.

Not theory detached from the work.
